Fully Funded Slovakia Scholarship for Talented Students 2025 (Deadline 31 July, 2025)

The Slovakia Scholarship for Talented Students 2025/26 is now open.  It offers a fully funded opportunity to pursue a Bachelor’s, Combined Bachelor’s & Master’s, or Master’s degree in Slovakia. With up to €15,000 in support, no application fee, and simple requirements, this could be your chance to get a quality European education for free.

What is the Slovakia Scholarship?

This scholarship program is funded by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic.The scholarship is for international students from around the world who want to study full-time in Slovak public universities.

The aim is to bring talented students to Slovakia to study in fields that support the country’s national development under the Smart Specialisation Strategy (SK RIS3 2021+).

To qualify, you must apply for a full-time, in-person program at one of the selected Slovak public universities.

Who Can Apply for Slovakia scholarship for Talented student 

The scholarship is open to non-Slovak citizens from any country. Those:

• Have no permanent or temporary residence in Slovakia since January 1, 2020
• Not studied at a Slovak school or university previously (exceptions for Erasmus+/mobility allowed)
• Hold a completed secondary school certificate (for Bachelor’s) or Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s)
• Minimum SAT score of 1100
• Are applying for full-time, on-campus study in Slovakia

Note: There is no upper age limit, but applicants under 18 need guardian consent.

Documents requirement for Slovakia scholarship for Talented students 

You’ll need to upload the following documents online:

• Passport or ID
• SAT score report (minimum 1100)
• Structured CV (template provided)
• Motivation Letter in English (template provided)
• University Admission Letter (if available)
• Solemn Declarations (templates available for residency/mobility history)
• Guardian consent (if under 18)

How to Apply for Slovakia scholarship for Talented student program

1. Apply to a Slovak public university in an eligible program.
2. Register and submit your scholarship application online through the official government portal
3. Upload all required documents before 31 July 2025, 23:59 CET.
4. Await evaluation,  selection is based only on SAT score ranking.

Important: Receiving the scholarship doesn’t guarantee university admission. You must apply to and be accepted by a Slovak public HEI separately.
