The GCUB Brazil Scholarship is a program offered by the 55 Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB). International students can apply for the Masters and PhD degree programs in any of the 55 Universities of Brazil. Participate in one of the largest international scholarship programs. There is no need for any acceptance letter not to contact any professor.

This is a table of the Master’s and PhD degrees programs which contains information on the university, language requirements, and duration of the program. Scholarship Coverage

Each selected candidate will receive the following benefits:

• Exemption from paying enrollment fees, tuition, or academic fees.
• A Monthly Stipend to cover the living expenses for the full duration of the program.
• Applications for scholarships are free.

For OSC Member States: 400 Scholarships are reserved (See OSC Members)

Students who will receive GCUB scholarships from OSC member states. The OSC will provide up to USD 1,500 per student for airfare, visa processing, international medical insurance, and other personal expenses not covered by GCUB’s associated universities.

GCUB Scholarship Requirements

• Submit the complete application in English, Portuguese, French, or Spanish.
• The scholarship is open to the citizens of a country that maintains a diplomatic relationship with Brazil.
• Brazilian Nationals are not eligible.
• Airfare, Visa processing, and health insurance are not covered under the scholarship.
• Submit the educational documents.
• Each candidate can apply for five Master’s or Doctoral programs, in different universities.

Required Documents to Upload

The candidates must upload these documents in the online application:

• Copy of Passport or any other identity document
• CV
• Copy of all previous educational certificates, diplomas, transcripts, and degrees.
• Submit an essay and follow the structure:
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Size 12;
  • Line spacing of 1.5 cm and margins (top, bottom, right, and left) of 2.5 cm

Result Announcement

The list of successful participants will be announced later this year, on the 25th of September 2024. The scholarship will commence in 2025.
