Harvard GH Institute Visiting Research Scholarship 2026 International Collaboration (Fully Funded) Deadline: 19 October, 2025
Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) is accepting applications for its 2025-2026 Visiting Research Scholarship Program. The initiative enables international collaborators to come to Harvard for a six-week in-residence stay, hosted by a sponsoring Harvard faculty member.
The goal is to strengthen existing or potential research collaborations by offering intensive periods of in-person work, exchange, and engagement.
What the Scholarship Covers
Recipients will receive full financial support for their stay, including:
- A lump-sum stipend to cover housing, roundtrip flights to/from Cambridge, MA, health insurance, J-1 visa fees, and a daily per diem for meals.
- All expenses tied to the in-residence period on the Harvard campus will be handled by the fellowship.
Eligibility & Requirements
- The application must be submitted by a Harvard faculty member, who will serve as the host/sponsor for the visiting collaborator.
- The visiting scholar must hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- There must be evidence of significant collaboration between the scholar and sponsor—either past co-publications, curriculum development, policy programs, or service partnerships.
