Applications are open for the HuCapital x Desmond Fontaine Foundation ‘Catalyst’ Grant 2025. The grant is designed to empower early-stage entrepreneurs who are building innovative product-driven and community-based businesses. This grant provides non-dilutive funding to support dreamers, innovators, and worldly thinkers who are making a meaningful impact in their industries and communities.

They are looking for bold ideas and ambitious founders who align with HuCapital’s mission to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders and innovators. Whether you’re launching a product that solves a real-world problem or creating a business that fosters genuine community connections, this grant is here to help you take your vision to the next level.

Grant

• They will provide a $1,500 MicroGrant.

Eligibility

• You must be the founder or co-founder of the business.
• Your business must be community-centric (i.e. social or professional groups) or product-centric (i.e. web, mobile, SaaS, food, beverage, consumer, clothing, etc.).
• Open to early-stage founders.
• Applicants must be based in the United States.
• The grant must be used to support product development, marketing, operations, or another key aspect of scaling your product-centric business.
• Your company DOES NOT need to be a registered business entity (LLC, C-Corp, S-Corp, etc.). They recognize that this fund may be necessary for you to set up these legal entities.
• Businesses that are solving meaningful problems, introducing new approaches, or improving existing solutions will be given preference.

Application

The application deadline is Friday, April 30, 2025. The winner will be notified no later than Monday, June 30, 2025.
