It is a fully funded fellowship taking place in Seville, Spain, from 8–11 June 2026. This fellowship is organized for the ICANN86 Policy Forum. Objectives of the Fellowship

• To bring new voices from all over the world to the table where decisions about the Internet are made.
• The main goal is to make sure that the people who help set the rules for the global Internet (ICANN) are diverse and include individuals from:
  • Underserved Communities: People who don’t usually get a chance to be part of these global conversations.
  • Different Regions and Backgrounds: Ensuring that the Internet works well for everyone, everywhere.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates from all regions and sectors are welcome to apply.
• Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
• Interest/Engagement: Be interested in, or already engaged in, the various components of ICANN’s work, including:
  • Policy building
  • The operation of the Domain Name System (DNS)
  • The security and stability of the global Internet
• Mandatory Training: Complete mandatory ICANN Learn courses.
• Policy Forum Specific (ICANN86): Applicants for a Policy Forum (like ICANN86) must have completed a previous ICANN Fellowship.
