Job description

– Ensure the role of System Administrator for electronic integrated disease surveillance and response system (eIDSR) and collaborate with appropriate entities to upgrade the system;
– Collaborate to elaborate, update and harmonize health facility reporting tools and data analysis books;
– Analyze regularly surveillance data to detect timely unusual event, ensure quality of data and provide feedback to concerned people
– Communicate timely to appropriate entities any probable outbreak for a quick response
– Promote utilization of surveillance data for decision making
– Train health facilities on utilisation of electronic surveillance system, data management and data analysis
– Ensure supervision of public and private health facilities to strengthen and maintain quality of integrated diseases surveillance and response
– Evaluate eIDSR and implement related recommendations to improve quality of surveillance and response system

In collaboration with MOH/eHealth and partners (VOXIVA) :

– Upgrade, maintain and ensure a functioning electronic disease surveillance system,

In collaboration with Units of Epidemic Surveillance and Response Division:

– Evaluate the electronic surveillance system (eIDSR)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Master’s degree in Epidemiology

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Epidemiology

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Global Health

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Master’s Degree in Field Epidemiology & Laboratory Training Program (FELTP)

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of public health communicable disease surveillance, analyzing data, concise reporting, and surveillance of communicable diseases

  • Knowledge of communicable disease surveillance
