PUBLIC NOTICE
INVITATION TO TENDER FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT) OF BOILERS
RWANDA MOUNTAIN TEA LTD
Rwanda Mountain Tea Ltd hereby invites qualified and experienced service providers to submit bids for the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of boilers installed at its various tea factories across the country.
Scope of Work
The NDT services are to be conducted on a total of 8 boilers located at the following sites:
- Rutsiro Tea Garden (Rwanda Mountain Tea Ltd) – 1 Boiler
- Kitabi Tea Company Ltd – 2 Boilers
- Rubaya-Nyabihu Tea Company Ltd – 2 Boilers
- Mata Tea Company Ltd – 1 Boiler
- Nshili Kivu Tea Factory Ltd – 1 Boiler
- Mushubi Tea Company Ltd – 1 Boiler
The required services include but are not limited to:
- Visual Inspection of the boilers and associated pressure components
- Ultrasonic Thickness Testing
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and/or Dye Penetrant Testing where applicable
- Internal and external inspection of seams, welds, and structural parts
- Identification of any corrosion, cracks, or material degradation
- Integrity assessment of all boiler components
- Issuance of detailed inspection reports and recommendations per boiler
- Certification of compliance in accordance with national and international boiler safety standards
Bidder Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a registered company or firm with legal capacity to operate in Rwanda
- Must be certified to conduct NDT services
- Proven experience in conducting boiler inspections in industrial settings
- Availability of certified NDT personnel and appropriate testing equipment
- Ability to perform the inspections on-site at all listed factory locations
- Compliance with RURA and applicable boiler safety regulations
Submission Deadline:
All bids must be submitted no later than 30th August 2025 at 5:00 PM local time.
