Bralirwa is seeking to hire a qualified, dedicated & experienced Transport Analyst, based in Kigali, reporting to the Transport Manager.
Key responsibilities
Report accidents, incidents, near misses and other unsafe conditions or behaviors;
Stimulate an open environment where safety is put first, by sharing safety concerns, acting as an example and addressing each other on safety.
Analyze trends and interpret data of the transportation planning activities and outcomes and suggest improvements.
Monitor and analyze contractor asset and equipment usage and suggest improvements.
Make deployments of transportation activities and suggest improvements in safety, processes and assets;
Produce timely and accurate data to prepare reports on performance.
Contribute to the definition of new performance indicators and set up the related reporting system(s).
Alert on performance deviations of indicators out of control and perform root cause analysis using the standard Transportation Cost Variance approach.
Work on the cost allocation for Transporters
Use the indicators trend to propose improvements projects.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Skills and Experience
Must have at least a Bachelor Degree(A0) in Business information Management, Computer Applications, Logistics , Economics, Statistics, or any other related field;
A minimum of 1 year working experience in a business environment
Must have language proficiency in English/French and Kinyarwanda;
Working knowledge of MS Office packages-Word, Excel & Power Point.
Being familiar with IT business systems is an added value.
