BACKGROUND
Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development Non- Governmental Organization in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). GNI strives to improve lives, especially children’s lives, through community development projects. In order to complete its staff, Good Neighbors International would like to recruit an exceptional professional with 2 years of work experience in a social enterprise or social business sector. This position of Business Innovations Associate will serve at junior level in our organization.
Business Innovations Associate (1) (To be based at Head Office Kigali)
The Business Innovations Associate will perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Identification and planning of business opportunities in rural communities
Creating value chains of agro-products
Conducting the market research of agro-production in local and global
Researching on microfinance and social enterprise operation in Rwanda
Extending partnership with different stakeholders
Developing a project proposal and presenting regular report
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics and Project management or experience in start-ups or mid-small size enterprises
Equipped with advanced data analysis and presentation skills using software
Experience in project designing and proposal development
Demonstrated leadership experience at work, or outside of work, enthusiasm for learning, and openness to feedback.
Ability to build teams and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Language: English is required. Kinyarwanda is preferred.
