Job Description
? Facilitate group counselling and support sessions where appropriate
? Implement students guidance program that provides students with a safe and non
– judgmental way to voice their concerns or worries
? Analyze student performance in the classroom to provide counseling guidance where necessary
? Communicate with teachers, parents and administration on an ongoing basis about behavioral and academic problems
? Facilitate crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
? Perform any other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor
Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Educational Planning, Business Administration, Public
Administration, Administrative Sciences, Social Sciences
Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
– Maturity of attitude,
– Ability to listen
– Sensitivity and empathy
– Patience and a calm manner
– Ability to cope with emotional situations
– Ability to relate to a wide range of people
– Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English or French
