Job Description
•Ensure the supervision of the geospatial data collection
•Coordinate GIS activities and the geospatial database
•Digitize the rural settlement related data collected from the field;
•Geo
– reference the scanned imagery;
•Data cleaning, entry, visualization and maintenance;
•Develop and implement an organizational structure for collection, entry, retrieval and management of rural settlement related data;
•Contribute to all activities related to spatial data quality control, data consistency and completeness;
•Identify commonly
– used databases;
•Design the proposal of GIS Rural settlements projects for submission to potential grants providers.
•Perform any other technical tasks in his/her domain of expertise as may be requested by the team leader.
Job Profile
A0 in Geography, GNSS, Land Survey, with experience of 2 years in rural settlement planning or Master’s degree in Geography, GNSS, Land Survey.
