Job Title: Seller of RYAF Shop
Background
RYAF SHOP Ltd is a private company owned by the Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Forum (RYAF), with core mission to set up and run shared market outlets for food and agricultural products in Rwanda. This company was created to put into action a strategy that promotes a reform in food and agricultural trading mechanisms in Rwanda, by and for RYAF members as engine for positive agribusiness transformation.
It is against this background that RYAF is looking for results driven Food retail RYAF SHOPS Seller to be responsible for the profitability and customer satisfaction within the shop. The successful candidate will be able to increase customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and attract new customers.
Responsibilities
-Be involved in stock control and management.
-Maintain positive business and customer relationships the effort to extend customer lifetime value
-Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through excellent services
-Being responsible for processing cash payments.
-Stocking shelves with merchandise:
-Dealing with all issues that arise from customers (complaints, etc.)
-Answering queries from customers.
-Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
-Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
-Balancing cash registers with receipts.
-Dealing with customer refunds.
-Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
-Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
-Working within established guidelines, particularly with RYAF Shop.
-Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
-Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
-Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
-Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to RYAF SHOPS staff
Basic Qualification
Minimum of high school diploma(A2) in accounting or related field
Being a high school flesh graduate
Sales skills
Negotiation skills
Customer management skills
Strong organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or relevant field
