Job Description
1.Supervise proper receipt and custody of funds
2.Coordinate Payments for goods and services in time;
3.Check conformity and accuracy of payments requests;
4.Ensure that payments are well supported;
5.Ensure the existence of strong Internal Controls in fund allocation, budgetary commitments, authorizations and payments;
6.Establish and maintain an appropriate Cash Book and General Ledger to Record Revenue and Expenditure operations;
7.Supervise preparation of financial reports, monthly, quarterly, annually or any other time they are needed;
8.Prepare and follow the processing of monthly commitments submitted to the treasury
9.To develop standards for financial reports and statements
10.To prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and reports to assess their accuracy, completeness and conformity to reporting and procedural.
11.To perform other duties that may be assigned by the his/her immediate supervisor
Job Profile
At least Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Specialized in Finance/Accounting with 3years of working experience. Accounting Professional Qualification recognized by IFAC (ACCA, CPA) with 1 year of working experience.
Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
– Knowledge of Rwanda’s financial management standards and procedures;
– Knowledge of Accounting principles and practices and financial data reporting;
– Knowledge of Management of Material Resources;
– Knowledge of supply chain management;
– Knowledge of Rwanda Public Financial Law;
– Leadership and management skills;
– Planning and organizational, Budgeting skills;
– Communication skills;
– Strong IT skills, particularly in Financial software (SMART IFMIS);
– Time management Skills
– Interviewing Skills;
– Judgment & Decision making skills;
– Complex Problem solving;
– Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English or French

6. Conduct supervision on student innovation projects.
7. Conduct examination and assessment.
8. Participate in training of trainers.
9.Mentor and coach junior academic staff and participate in their evaluation;
10. Participate in income generating activities of the institution.
11.Assist students to perform the necessary tasks while working in the workshop
12. Provide professional and technical advice to her/his supervisors.

3.Ensure the maintenance of the College’s vehicle(s)
4.Record all the movements of the vehicle in log book and Vehicle Movement Register at every Vehicle Movement

6.Make sure that the vehicle insurance and other traffic requirements are always in order;
