Job Description
– Coordinate all activities related to monitoring of GBV;
– Ensure mechanisms, tools, frameworks and guidelines to monitor GBV, prevention and response interventions are in place and efficiently implemented in line with national instruments;
– Coordinate the documentation and publication of monitoring findings and lessons learnt;
– Produce national GBV and gender related injustice Status Report;
– Provide regular briefing and updates related to monitoring GBV and gender related injustice to the Executive Secretary and DCGM2;
– Provide advice for the effective institutional management and development;
– Coordinate GBV related research;
– Supervise GBV monitoring activities in public, private, religious institutions and CSOs; and ensure that GBV cases received are adequately responded;
– Coordinate the planning and budgeting process GBV Unit ;
– Provide advice for the effective institutional management and development;
– Coordinate and supervise GBV Unit staff;
– Contribute to the development of Projects and the realization of the resource mobilization
– Submit periodical reports to the Executive Secretary;
– Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor;
Job Profile
“A0 in Law, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Administrative Sciences, and Public Administration with 3 years of working experience or Master’s Degree in Gender & Development, Law, Gender Studies, Development Studies,Administrative Sciences, and Public Administration with 1 year of working experience
Key technical skills and knowledge required:
– Deep Understanding of Gender issues
– Deep Knowledge in Gender Advocacy;
– Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills;
– Computer skills;
– High analytical skills;
– Time management skills;
– Team working skills;
– Excellent problem solving skills and clear logical sens;
– Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French”
