BACKGROUND

Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development Non- Governmental Organization in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). GNI strives to improve lives, especially children’s lives, through community development projects. In order to complete its staff, Good Neighbors International would like to recruit different staff with the following positions:

Position: Microfinance Operation Coordinator	Based in Kigali
Key responsibilities included: Understand the laws and regulations governing MFIs Operations in Rwanda; Conduct research on MFI Organizational and Operational procedures in Rwanda; Develop requirements and conditions to establish MFI in Rwanda; Develop framework of cooperation with different financial institutions in Rwanda and other project partners; Establish all the procedures needed to operate and manage MFI internal control system in accordance with Law Governing Financial Institution in Rwanda; Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the microfinance in Good Neighbors target group. Qualifications and skills The candidate must have bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Monetary economics and Management Having more than 3 years of experience in related fields Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Fluent in speaking English Computer literate with good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Power point) Skills in Microfinance Institutions management such as SACCO, Commercial Bank and or other financial institutions operating in Rwanda are preferred.
