Job Description
– Provide inputs in the preparation and monitoring the implementation of the PSI Program with the IMF;
– Provide inputs and Coordinate the design, implementation and monitoring of Fiscal Policy;
– Provide inputs in the Fiscal Reporting migration towards GFSM 2001 Requirements;
– Liaise with NISR/BNR team to ensure collection of monthly data on Industrial and Agricultural Sectors;
– Elaborating the GDP Projections and Provisional GDP estimates for Calendar and Fiscal Years;
– Maintaining and updating the Inflation Projections throughout the Year using monthly NISR Data and Information on Global prices and domestic Economic Policy Environment;
– Use Rwanda Macro Model for Macroeconomic Projections and Impact analysis;
– Follow up on updating the Macro Framework Dataset;
– EDPRS II macro Framework monitoring and evaluation;
– Collecting and analysis of all Fiscal data required from Various Institutions concerned;
– Preparing and compiling monitoring monthly, quarterly and Annual Consolidated Fiscal performance tables following the Targets in PSI Program;
– Provide Fiscal Tables and Data on GFSM 1986 and follow up on Fiscal Targets in line with PSI Program.
Job Profile
A0 in Economics, Economic Policy, Development Economics , Macro Economics, International Trade, International Economics, International Finance, Monitory Economics, Growth Economics, Fiscal Policy with 3 years of working experience or Master’s degree in Economics, Economic Policy, Development Economics , Macro Economics, International Trade, International Economics, International Finance, Monitory Economics, Growth Economics, Fiscal Policy with 1 year of working experience
Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
– Knowledge in public finance, monetary economics, international economics, poverty issues, political economy;
– Knowledge on Research and data analysis, reporting, budgeting;
– Knowledge in econometrics and econometric software;
– Knowledge in macro
– modelling;
– Demonstrate strong analytical , quantitative, and computer skills.
