Job Description
– To coordinate all the activities of the unit
– To ensure geographical organization of examination administration and marking centers
– To collaborate with district education directors and inspectors in setting examination and marking center
– To manage problems and malpractices arising from examinations administration and marking centers (cheating cases, welfare of supervisors and invigilators
– To take responsibility for sufficient examinations materials and transport means to each center
– To codify examination papers and answer booklets according to the planned centers
– To be responsible for examinations materials( ie RNEC headquarter store and examinations centers’ stores
– To arrange examinations papers according to their levels and subjects,
– To verify payment lists of markers
– To verify lists of those who qualify for certificates for markers
– To solve the problems related to examinations
– To ensure the quality of group composition of markers in conveyor belt marking system.
– To perform any other duty called for
– To make an appropriate report
Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Education Sciences, Psychology, Educational Management & Administration, Education & Development, Applied Pedagogy , Education Planning with 3 years of working experience or Master’s Degree in Education Sciences, Psychology, Educational Management & Administration, Education & Development, Applied Pedagogy, Education Planning with 1 year of working experience.
Key Technical Skills and Knowledge required:
– Process Management skills;
– Report writing and presentation skills;
– Effective computer skills;
– Collaboration and team working skills;
– Effective communication skills Management and administrative skills;
– Time management;
– General knowledge on Rwanda education system and policies and Expertise in management;
– Supervisory, Team Building, Analytical and Problem Solving skills;
– Decision making skills; Excellent Communication skills;
– Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English or French; knowledge of all these three (3) languages is an advantage.
