Value for Women is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to support and strengthen its global team. This is a remote, part-time consultancy role offering approximately 6 days per month, with flexibility to work from anywhere.

Role Overview

The HR Consultant will serve as a strategic people partner, supporting leadership in aligning organizational goals with effective people strategies. The role requires experience in talent management, line management development, recruitment, team wellbeing, and workforce planning. This consultant will act as a vital link between the People team and the Senior Management Team, ensuring consistent delivery of people-centered approaches across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• • Provide strategic HR advice and coaching to the Senior Management Team, identifying people risks and offering solutions.
  • Act as a connector across departments by building strong relationships across the global team.

• • Support and coach line managers in handling people-related issues.
• Lead and manage all stages of the global recruitment cycle, including consultant selection and onboarding.
• Oversee and improve the organization’s Network Consultant strategy to ensure it aligns with operational needs and growth.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior HR professional with a strong track record in strategic human resource management, particularly in globally distributed and mission-driven environments.

Essential Qualifications:

• • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in HR management, preferably within nonprofits or purpose-driven organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement people strategies that support organizational capability and sustainability.

• • Experience in global recruitment and people operations in remote, multicultural settings.
• Proven track record in coaching leaders and supporting performance management.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work effectively across all levels.
• Deep understanding of and commitment to equity, inclusion, and fostering a culture of wellbeing and high performance.
• Able to work independently with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong commitment to transparency, collaboration, and equality of opportunity.
• Experience working across time zones in a fully remote organization.

Compensation

Value for Women works exclusively with self-employed individuals. The daily consultancy rate ranges from USD $350 to $400, depending on experience and qualifications.

4. Reference Checks: Finalists will be asked to provide two references.
