Legal Research at Supreme Court(SC): (Deadline 23 January 2026)

Job responsibilities

 Conduct legal research;  Prepare memoranda such as bench memos to be used by judges during oral arguments;  Prepare draft orders and opinions;  Proofread the judges’ orders and opinions  Verify citations used in judgement writing  Verifying that pleadings and other documents submitted to the court comply with legal requirements and court rules

Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Law
  
  2 Years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Law

4 Years of relevant experience

Required competencies and key technical skills

- Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French. Knowledge of all is an added advantage.

- Required relevant experience

- Confidentiality, ethical and teamwork skills;

- High integrity and professional ethical standards

Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and solve problems within expectations;
