Logistics Officer at RWANDA INFORMATION SOCIETY AUTHORITY (RISA): (Deadline 24 December 2021)
Job description
•Inspect the levels of supplies and materials in stock to identify shortages and order for replenishments;
• Ensure products in stock are adequate for all department and can cover direct demand from staff;
• Record deliveries and outgoing to reconcile inventory;
• Place orders to replenish stock and avoid insufficiencies or excessive surplus;
• Analyze data to anticipate future needs;
• Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
•Proper management, maintenance and replacement of assets as well as their depreciation and disposal whenever necessary;
•Ensure RISA’s Assets/Office Equipment are insured against hazards;
• Effective utilization and maintenance of RISA’s vehicles;
• To keep and update the asset register;
•Carry out periodical inventory of the assets;
•To report the obsolete and damaged assets for disposal.
