Mass Verification Officer at RWANDA STANDARDS BOARD (RSB): (Deadline 24 March 2022)
Job description
1. Perform initial, sub-sequent verification and metrological control of masses and weighing instruments
2. Ensuring that standard used are traceable at national and international level.
3. Participate in awareness campaign on the use of masses and weighing instruments and its stamping.
4. Provide report to direct supervisor on work performed and matters affecting the work in the laboratory
5. Maintaining records generated as per the procedure in place.
6. Participate in the establishment and maintenance of quality management system as per RS 438:2021 requirements;
7. Implement provision of the law and ministerial order related to importation of measuring instruments;
8. Account for monthly revenue generated from the execution of laboratory activities and report to the direct supervisor
9. Maintain the laboratory in a tidy and organised manner at all times.
10. Operate in compliance with organizational regulation and rules
