The Tomorrow’s Leaders Undergraduate (TLU) Program  and Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate (TLG) Program support students in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by providing undergraduate and master-level academic matriculation, civic education, and leadership development. TLU and TLG are a leadership-training program that partners with leading U.S.-accredited universities in the MENA region to build a cadre of community, business, and national leaders who are civic-minded, intellectually able, and professionally skilled.

Aim and Benefits of Tomorrow’s Leaders Undergraduate (TLU) Progra

The program covers the following:

  • Full tuition coverage (for a maximum period of four academic years)
  • Housing (double room occupancy)
  • University health insurance
  • Entrance visa and residency permit fees
  • Monthly living allowance
  • A yearly book allowance
  • Laptop for the duration of the program
  • Two yearly round trip tickets from and to your home country
  • Opportunity for a study abroad semester in the U.S. (subject to maintaining a CGPA of 3.0 and above)
  • Civic leadership and career-oriented workshops
  • Internship opportunities
  • Faculty mentorship and guidance
  • Professional training on leadership and gender.
  • Academic advising, mentoring services, and learning services

Requirements for Tomorrow’s Leaders Undergraduate (TLU) Progra Qualification

To be eligible to apply, you must:

  • Be a citizen/national of Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, Yemen, and Iraq, and West Bank and Gaza (including Palestinians residing outside of the West Bank and Gaza);
  • Be a current high school senior or applicant who graduated from high school in 2023. In Yemen, Syria, Libya, and Iraq current high school senior or applicant who graduated from high school in 2022 or 2023;
  • Demonstrate strong academic credentials;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English with a minimum of 55 for the TOEFL iBT that is less than two years old;
  • Exhibit maturity, flexibility and leadership potential;
  • Maintain a high GPA and pass high school leaving exam in final year;
  • Be able to start the program in August/September of 2024;
  • Demonstrate financial need per Tomorrow’s Leaders Program and host university financial aid policies; and
  • Students who qualify may be eligible for up to one year of intensive English Language training if needed.

  •  Opportunity to engage with a faculty on research projects

Requirements for Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate (TLG) Program Qualification

To be eligible to apply, you must:

  • Be a citizen/national of: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, Yemen, and Iraq, and West Bank and Gaza (including Palestinians residing outside of the West Bank and Gaza
  • Note: American citizens or U.S. Legal Permanent Residents are not
  • eligible to apply
  • Be committed to complete your Master’s degree within two-years;
  • Be committed to pursue hands-on public policy research and work as part of your Master’s program;
  • Demonstrate academic excellence
  • Demonstrate financial need per Tomorrow’s Leaders Program and host university financial aid policies;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English and meet university specific TOEFL iBT scores; and
  • Be able to start the program in August/September of 2023.
