Miles-Mulcahy Gender Equality Fellows Program 2025: (Deadline Unspecified)
Applications are open for the Miles-Mulcahy Gender Equality Fellows Program 2025. The Miles-Mulcahy Fellow will join the Save the Children, U.S. Gender Equality & Social Justice (GESJ) team and will work alongside the GESJ Advisor. The Fellow will develop self-paced learning modules on GESJ topics to complement the Gender Equality Certificate Program (GECP). The GECP is a one-year program for Save the Children staff to develop skills and knowledge to advance gender equality through everything Save the Children does.
The development of complementary learning modules will include:
- Reviewing existing GECP learning materials, including videos/recordings, readings, homework assignments, and reflection activities;
- Researching and collecting additional learning materials on GESJ topics such as sexual and reproductive health and rights, LGBTQI+ justice, racial justice, disability justice, positive masculinities, etc.;
- Curating self-paced learning modules on priority topics identified by the team in collaboration with the Fellow; and
- Supporting the GESJ Advisor and GECP facilitators in updating program materials with the latest thinking and research on program topics.
- Further, the Fellow will support GESJ team to advance their 2025-2027 gender equality strategy.

Remuneration
- Fellows will be paid $17/hour. You would work up to 24 hours per week.
Eligibility
- Applicants should be currently enrolled or have graduated from a master’s degree program in international development, gender studies, social science, communication or related field.
- Strong interest in and understanding of gender equality, social justice and child rights issues.
- Excellent research, writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online research tools.
- Prior experience teaching and/or developing learning materials on topics relating to gender equality and social justice.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
