Nabni Building for Peace Facility – Call for Concept Notes for Syria 2025: (Deadline 4 August, 2025)

Introduction

The Nabni Building for Peace (B4P) Facility has launched its 2025 Syria Call for Concept Notes (CfCN/SY/25/001), inviting project proposals from locally rooted consortia of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs). This initiative aims to support innovative, community-led interventions that promote peace, enhance social cohesion, and strengthen local governance and sustainable development across Syria.

Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through KfW Development Bank, the Nabni Facility provides technical assistance, funding, and knowledge exchange platforms to support impactful peacebuilding projects in conflict-affected regions of the MENA region.

What the Call Offers

Interested applicants may submit concept notes for projects that align with Nabni’s Building for Peace (B4P) approach, which promotes inclusive, locally led solutions to the root causes of conflict. Selected concepts will be invited for full proposal submission and may receive multi-year funding and tailored technical assistance.

• Note: No submissions via email will be accepted

Virtual Orientation Sessions

To support applicants, Nabni will host two virtual information sessions to explain the application process and answer general questions.

Support and Questions

Applicants may submit questions until 04 August 2025 at 12:00 GMT+3, using the question submission link in the CfCN document. Responses will be posted anonymously and twice a week on the Nabni portal.
