Description of the Assignment: National Gender Specialist to Support the Preparation of the Full Project Document for a GEF-7 Project ‘Ecosystems/Landscape Approach to Climate Proof the Rural Settlement Program of Rwanda’

Period of assignment/services :20workingdaysin15calendarmonths

Objective

The National Gender Specialist will support on the stakeholder analysis and consultations,preparation of the gender analysis, gender action plan and budget, updating of the UNDPSocial and Environmental Screening Procedure (SESP), as well as ensure necessary actions aretaken during the project preparation phase. He/she will work under the coordination of theTeamLeaderandwith guidancefromtheInternationalSafeguardsSpecialist.

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.

Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
