The NVIDIA Fellowship 2026 is a distinguished program granted by NVIDIA to outstanding PhD students whose research corresponds with the most recent advances in accelerated computing and related topics. The Fellowship also involves an in-person summer internship at an NVIDIA research facility in the United States, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Israel, or Taiwan. The fellowship covers the fellows’ education, salary, and research expenses.

The NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program provides $60,000 in grants to PhD candidates researching areas that could lead to major breakthroughs in accelerated computing and associated applications. NVIDIA especially welcomes contributions from students pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous vehicles, and related topics. Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the NVIDIA Graduate Partially funded Fellowship Program 2026, you must:

• • When applying for a PhD, you must have finished your first year of studies.
  • Your major should be
    •  computer science,
    • computer engineering,
    • system architecture,
    • electrical engineering, or
    • a related field.
  • You should be actively researching for your PhD thesis.
  • The scholarship requires that you be a full-time PhD student for the whole 2026-2027 academic year (9 months). This means you shouldn’t graduate until May or June 2027.
  • Before beginning your fellowship year, you must be available for a mandatory in-person summer internship.
  • You cannot have an immediate family member who works for NVIDIA.
  • The fellowship payment will be made to your university, not to you.
