OHCHR Minorities Fellowship 2026 in Switzerland (Fully Funded) Deadline: 31 January, 2026
The applications are now open for the OHCHR Minorities Fellowship 2026. It is a Fully Funded fellowship for candidates from around the world. The Duration of the OHCHR Minorities Fellowship program is four to five weeks, and it takes place in the Fall of 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland. Around 15 to 20 candidates will be shortlisted per language group (English, Russian, and Arabic). There is no application fee, and Formal education is not a limitation. The fellowship covers all the expenses, including Airfare, Insurance, Accommodation, Living Expenses, and visits to other cities. The OHCHR Minorities Fellowship is a training program for Human rights and minority rights defenders belonging to minority groups. Fellows will gain a deeper understanding of the United Nations system for the protection and promotion of international human rights and minority rights.

Goal of the Program
The Minorities Fellowship Programme’s primary objective is to equip minority individuals with knowledge and skills in international human rights to enable their organizations and communities to protect and promote human and minority rights.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Fellowship is open to all the Nationals.
- Must belong to a national, ethnic, linguistic, or religious minority group.
- Formal education is not a barrier if relevant experience is demonstrated.
- Candidates must be nominated by a minority organization/community and must return to their NGO to apply their knowledge/skills in promoting human and minority rights.
