World Citizen Talent Scholarship 2020/2021; Masters Scholarships (Deadline: 31 March 2019)
To prospective master students, up to three (one-time) scholarships worth EUR 5,000 are available each year. We’re looking to intelligent, creative and ambitious people who see themselves as the world’s citizens.

About World Citizen Talent Scholarship / world citizen talent scholarships for international students
You are eligible for a World Citizen Talent Scholarship if you:
- Come from outside The Netherlands and don’t live in the Netherlands.
- Are enrolling for the first time at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
- Have never applied for this scholarship before.
- Have been conditionally accepted as a student (also-called offer of student position) on or before 31 March for the upcoming academic year.
Application Process for World Citizen Talent Scholarship / world citizen talent scholarships for international students
Step 1
Apply for the Master programme of your choice by using the online application tool.
Step 2
Write an essay (in English, 950 to 1100 words ) explaining why and how you can contribute to the multinational, multicultural beehive that is The Hague University of Applied Sciences and how you can contribute to the programme of your choice. Please read our essay guidelines and information on the assessment procedure below before you start writing.
Step 3
Submit your essay by completing the scholarship application form between 1 November – 31 March.
Scholarship assessments and results for World Citizen Talent Scholarship / world citizen talent scholarships for international students
To judge all essays, we have appointed a committee. To order to receive the award, the judges must choose the three students whose essays will most inspire them. The jury’s decision is binding and you will be informed about it by email before 15 May.
Please note that the scholarship will only be awarded once you have been conditionally accepted and have fulfilled all terms and conditions of enrollment. Once the scholarship is finally awarded, the corresponding amount (€ 5000) will be waived as the last installment from the tuition fee.
Through submitting your paper, if we so desire, you give us the right to publish it. Stipend winners are also expected to participate actively in the program and its reviews, become a Master Program Ambassador and contribute to our institution’s internationalization.
