Applications are open for the Oroko Radio Residency for Africans 2025. The Oroko Radio invites all music creatives, DJs and content creators interested in hosting their show to submit their show for consideration. Your show doesn’t need to be a DJ mix! You can play full songs without transitions, talk in between, host a talk show, put together sound collages – the more variety the better.
Oroko is a not-for-profit independent internet radio station based in Accra, Ghana. They aim to connect, inspire and empower through conversation, collaboration and community. They seek to reclaim and recenter narratives from the African and Diasporic artistic communities with a particular focus on local perspectives in Accra, in addition to cultivating and nurturing relationships with like-minded projects across the globe.

Eligibility
- Open to radio creatives in all parts of Africa.
- Preference will be given to shows that are different to Oroko Radio’s current show list, based in the continent and/or present new perspectives.
- Accepted language is English or French.
