BRALIRWA Ltd is looking to hire a qualified, client focused & experienced People and Organization Development Manager focused on ensuring alignment with BRALIRWA business strategy, organization culture and needed capabilities. You will oversee the development of training programs, facilitate change management initiatives; build human capital and a strong employee development culture. To excel in this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn, grow and you will have a mandate to embed initiatives that foster a positive organisational culture of engagement, aligned to our values. This role reports directly to Human Resources Director.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES:

People Leadership

  • Support line Manager to define leaderships gaps, determine the needed developmental initiatives, implement and monitor progress
  • Influencing leadership behaviors aligned to HEINEKEN behaviors across the organization
  • Equip people managers with the capability to build a high performing teams that is consumer centric and forward thinking in delivery
  • Provide change management support for change initiatives across the organization
  • Promote and build Inclusive culture through learning and developmental approach

Strategic and Operational Planning

  • Provide guidance and advice on organizational people needs
  • Develop annual POD plan aligned with the wider people plan and business goals
  • Lead the operational activities with a continuous improvement in the area of learning, performance and development

Organization Development

  • Monitor and guide employee engagement programs e.g. Climate Survey process and action planning
  • Engage staff in creating a high performing culture that drives the organization through a customer-focused, flexible and dynamic workforce
  • Develop, implement and evaluate innovative workforce and organizational development strategies such as engagement, diversity, leadership, talent management and learning and development. Assess and deliver training and development needs in a planned approach.

Performance and Career Development and others:

  • Drive succession planning by ensuring a clear talent development plan is in place and ensure quality execution and follow-up.
  • Manage the Management Trainee Program. Recruit, train and coach the management trainees
  • Lead the development of an innovative intervention to create and embed the performance management culture across the organization
  • Develop and implement functional competency assessments for all functional areas based on current and future organization skills and requirements. Own and monitor the learning and development plan, set the budget and track progress of spending
  • Financial management; Manage the People and Organization Development budget

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in HRM, Management, Organizational Psychology  or other Social Science studies
  • 7 Years as HR Manager with 5 years’ experience with  Learning & development/organization development/performance management or People & Culture Change
  • Excellent facilitator on Leadership and change management topics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills  and can communicate effectively in English and French
  • 3 years experience in managing people and coach
  • Strategic and tactical delivery skills
  • Good business acumen and adaptability to change
  • Experience working in an international organization will be an added advantage.
  • Passionate about people empowerment and growth
  • Positive attitude, Structured and very well organized
