Plumbing Technician at Ngoma District: (Deadline 27 January 2025)
Job responsibilities
– Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings. – Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map the layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials. – Diagnose plumbing issues, such as leaks or blockages, and determine appropriate solutions. – Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts. – Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems using pressure gauges or other testing equipment. – Install water heaters, dishwashers, toilets, and other plumbing-related appliances. – Adhere to safety protocols and building codes to ensure the proper functioning of plumbing systems. – Keep accurate records of services performed and materials used. – Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients regarding job details, costs, and timelines. – Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies.
