AMENDMENT NO. 1: POSTPONE THE DEADLINE FOR BIDS SUBMISSION

Referring to the Invitation for Bids, Ref. No.: RPCL/011/W/RFB/25-26 for the Design, Supply and Installation of Floating Trash Boom Barrier and related Equipment; following requests from potential Bidders, the Rusumo Power Company Limited (RPCL) hereby inform all bidders that the deadline for bids submission has been postponed from 26th November 2026 to 17th December 2025, before 10:00 hours Rwanda time or 11:00 hours Tanzania time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10:00 hours Rwanda time or 11:00 Hours Tanzania Time on the same day.
Furthermore, to encourage wider competition for bidders who were unable to attend the first mandatory site visit, a second mandatory site visit is scheduled for 27th November 2025, from 10:00 hours Rwanda time or 11:00 hours Tanzania time. Interested Bidders will meet at RPCL Administration Building, located in the United Republic of Tanzania in Rusumo-Ngara District near the border of Tanzania and Rwanda and will be guided by a RPCL Staff.
