REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR PROVISION OF HYDRO-GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY SERVICES (PREQUALIFICATION STAGE)
- Introduction
Living Water International Rwanda (LWIR), an affiliate of Living Water International (LWI), is a Christian non-governmental organization that has been operating in Rwanda since 2007 to provide Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services. LWIR hereby invites qualified and experienced companies to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the provision of hydro-geophysical survey services to support its water supply projects across Rwanda.
- Scope of Services
The selected company will be expected to provide hydro-geophysical survey services, including but not limited to:
- Conducting geophysical surveys (such as resistivity, seismic, or electromagnetic methods) to identify potential groundwater sites.
- Interpreting survey data to provide recommendations for drilling locations.
- Preparing comprehensive reports with maps, diagrams, and findings for each survey.
- Responding to survey requests from LWIR on a flexible basis depending on drill site locations in any district of Rwanda.
The successful bidder will be contracted for one year, with surveys carried out as requested by LWIR.
- Eligibility Requirements
Interested companies must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Valid registration to operate as a geophysical survey company in Rwanda.
- Proven experience of at least five (5) years in conducting hydro-geophysical surveys.
- Demonstrated capacity to carry out surveys using modern equipment and provide accurate interpretations.
- Qualification of contracted staff /surveyors
- Submission of relevant certifications, licenses, and references from previous clients.
- Compliance with all applicable tax policies in Rwanda.
- Submission Instructions
- All submissions must include:
- Technical proposal describing the company’s experience, equipment, and methodology.
- Financial proposal indicating cost per survey or day rate and any applicable terms and conditions.
- Supporting documents (licenses, certifications, company profile, references, CVs of key staff ).
- All documents must be compiled into ONE PDF file.
- Submissions should be sent via email to: LWIRProcurement@water.cc
- Email subject line must read: “Expression of Interest for Hydro-Geophysical Survey Services”
- Deadline for submission: October 25th, 2025, at 17:00 (Rwanda time). Late submissions will not be accepted.
