The International Center for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF) has received a grant from the African Development Bank to implement a project entitled: “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture for Improved Rural Livelihoods and Climate Resiliency in the Climate-Vulnerable Eastern Province of Rwanda Project” and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the grant to facilitate payment for a contract for preparation of an Audit by a firm which will be based in Rwanda.
The services included under this project are to assess the “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture for Improved Rural Livelihoods and Climate Resiliency in the Climate-Vulnerable Eastern Province of Rwanda Project” performance and prepare a Financial Audit Report.
The International Center for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Framework (2015)”, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.

Interested firms are invited to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) along with relevant credentials/information indicating that they are available and qualified to perform the service. The firm must be registered and be in the approved list of auditors accredited by the relevant Rwanda Accreditation Institute (Institute of Certified Public Accountants Rwanda/ICPAR). The firm must have a proven track record in accounting and financial auditing of development projects/programs, including those funded by donors.
