Recruitment of Research Assistant

Headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda with offices in Burundi and CAR, is fast growing, independent firm that seeks to enhance the culture of evidence-based decisions.
ODS is engaged in a range of projects and activities in the field of research on business environment, education, health and economic development initiatives. It is against this background that we are looking for qualified, self-motivated candidates of integrity who possess knowledge, skills and experience required to fill the position of research assistant on our numerous assignments.
The ideal candidate must possess the following;
· Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (business management, accounting, finance, economics, social sciences, public administration or other related field).
· 3+ years’ experience in research or other related work area with well-developed skills including interviewing, facilitation, moderating, presentation etc.
· Self-starting and entrepreneurial individual with a firm understanding of research and how to influence the interviewing process
· Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods
· Strong networking skills coupled with confidence and maturity to work with executives.
· Ability to lead teams with a sound work ethic, intellectual curiosity and exceptional client service.
· Ability to deliver projects on-time, within the scope that meets or exceeds client’s expectations.
· Exceptional written, verbal communication and problem solving skills.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
