Full-time Reservations Consultant Required
African Unique Safaris and Tours is a leading Destination Management Company and Tour Operator based in Rwanda.
We are looking for a driven, motivated reservations consultant with exceptional communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyse and respond to tour enquiries from agents immediately
- Provide inspiring and accurate digital itineraries and quote solutions that convert enquiries into sales.
- Book the activities and permits of converted tours.
- Keep accurate records and file systems.
- Prepare and hold driver guide briefing sessions.
- Maintain excellent support and relationships with agents.
- Keep information and rate sheets up to date.
- Participate in sales growth ideas.
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Confident, open and effective communication skills are a must (Quiet or passive communicators need not apply).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, TEAMS, Outlook, Excel as well as strong internet research skills.
- Both advanced written and spoken English.
- Ability to write accurate and well-informed itineraries that make sense to a new visitor.
- Solutions minded.
- Productive.
- Team player.
- Lifelong Learner.
- Be able to adapt to different foreign cultures’ communication styles, needs and expectations.
Highly Regarded
- Experience in the Tourism Industry in a Reservations role.
- French or other international languages.
