The Applications are now open for the RIPS Summer Internship 2026 in the USA. This fully funded internship will take place at the University of California, UCLA, Los Angeles. RIPS stands for Research in Industrial Projects for Students. This internship in the USA is open to undergraduates and recent graduates, and international students from around the world are welcome to apply. The objective of the program is to provide students with an opportunity to work on real-world research projects with industry mentors from the private or public sector. Interns will work under the guidance of an academic mentor, research the assigned problem, and present their results. The duration of the internship is nine weeks, and there is NO application fee. Eligibility Criteria for the RIPS Summer Internship
- International Students from all countries are eligible to apply for the RIPS-LA internship.
- Undergraduate students are eligible.
- Recent graduates who have received their degree no earlier than December 2025 may apply for RIPS 2026.
- U.S. Citizens are not eligible.
- Foreign students (studying in the US or abroad) are eligible
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Candidates must be undergraduate students or recent graduates.
