Requirements for RWTH Aachen University MIRAI Research Scholarship Qualification
Master’s students and doctoral candidates from all disciplines have the unique opportunity to conduct research at one of the distinguished Japanese universities
Interview date, Process and Venue for RWTH Aachen University MIRAI Research Scholarship
It is important that the minimum duration of 3 months or 90 days is adhered to. This is strictly a research grant and cannot be used to support coursework or class-based studies. The MIRAI scholarship can only be awarded once per individual.
Documents Required for Application
Please submit the following application documents in English as a single PDF file via email to Ms. Bettina Dinter no later than four months before your planned research stay abroad:
- Personal statement and research plan
- CV / Resume
- Confirmation of a supervisor at the partner university
- Transcript of records and RWTH enrollment certificate
- Letter of recommendation from an RWTH professor
