Rwanda Education Board (REB) and National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA)  are responsible for conducting expatiation likes

How to Check Your REB Results

Here’s a clear, step-by-step guide for checking NESA A’Level (S6) results:

Method 1 — Online (recommended)

1. Go to the Secondary Results Portal:
   Open secondary.sdms.gov.rw. You should see the “National Examination Results” page. SDMS

2. Enter your details:

   • Type your Index Number exactly as it appears on your candidate slip.

   • If the page asks for it, also enter your National ID in the “National Identity” field. SDMS
     (If you don’t know your index number, contact your school.) primary.sdms.gov.rw

3. Get results: Click “GET RESULTS” and wait for the page to load your statement of results. SDMS

4. Save/Print: Use your browser’s Print or Save as PDF option to keep a copy.

Tip: You can also reach the results links via NESA’s “Exam Results publication” page, which points to the primary and secondary portals. NESA+1

Method 2 — SMS (works on any phone)

1. Open your SMS/Messages app.

2. Type: your full Index Number, then a space, then your National ID number (for S6).

   • Format: INDEX_NUMBER NATIONAL_ID

   • Example: S6XXXXXXX 1199XXXXXXXXXXXX (use your real numbers)

3. Send to: 8888.

4. You’ll receive an SMS reply with your results. (Have a small airtime balance; a fee may apply.) NESA
