POSITION:          Senior Officer -Talent Acquisition

DEPARTMENT:     Human Resources

REPORTS TO:       Head of Human Resources

Job Purpose.

To work closely with the HR Team and different Heads of Departments to execute the recruitment process through internal promotions as well as external sourcing to ensure that the best talent is placed within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts.
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
  • Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs.
  • Execute the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, phone interviewing, job interviewing, Screen CVs and shortlist candidates for further processing, induction, regular communication with candidates and recruitment leadership.
  • Actively search resumes on various recruitment channels to get sufficient and qualified CVs for recruitment requirements.
  • Build applicant sources and data by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, other recruiters, media, and internet sites.
  • Manage the posting of job vacancies at top performing recruitment channels.
  • Assist in employee retention and development.
  • Organize the induction of new staff members.
  • Participate in the budget.

Required Skills, Capabilities & Qualifications.

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in recruitment as an in-house recruiter, headhunter or within a recruitment agency, preferably in a service-oriented environment/Business.
  • A bachelor’s degree in HR Management is essential or Business Administration/ Management with specialism of HR from a recognized university.
  • Familiarity with using HRMS’ is also an added advantage.
  • Related postgraduate/professional qualifications & familiarity with using HRIMS’ will be an added advantage.
  • An active, hardworking, enthusiastic nature.
  • Sociable with a passion for people development.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage others.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
