Eligible Nationalities

Admissions are open to:

• International Students (non-R.O.C. nationality)

• Overseas Chinese Students, including those from Hong Kong and Macao

• Mainland Chinese Students (via designated application channels)

Eligibility Criteria

1. International Students

• Must hold a non-R.O.C. nationality.

• Meet the educational qualifications recognized by the Taiwan Ministry of Education (MOE).

2. Overseas Chinese Students (including Hong Kong and Macao)

• Must have lived overseas for at least six consecutive years (eight years for applicants to the School of Medicine or Dentistry).

• May apply through the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students or directly to KMU.

3. Mainland Chinese Students

• Must apply via the University Entrance Committee for Mainland Chinese Students.

Educational Qualifications

• Undergraduate Programs: High school diploma or equivalent recognized by MOE, verified by an R.O.C. representative office.

• School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an MOE-recognized institution.

• Master’s Programs: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recognized by MOE.

• Ph.D. Programs: Master’s degree or higher recognized by MOE.

Application Procedure

1. Visit the KMU Application Website and choose the desired program (Undergraduate, Master’s, Ph.D., or Post-Baccalaureate Medicine).

2. Register an account and fill in all required fields.

3. Upload required documents and pay the application fee (applicable only for Post-Baccalaureate Medicine).

4. Print and sign the application form, then upload the scanned copy.

5. Provide at least 2 referees for each program applied.

6. Submit the application before the deadline.
