Tender Notice to Provide Tea Transport Services at Mulindi Factory Company Limited (MFC): (Deadline 5 September 2025)
Mulindi Factory Company Limited (MFC) is in the Northern Province of Rwanda, Gicumbi district. The factory invites applications to provide transport services of made tea from the factory to Mombasa, Kenya. Delivery of the product should be in good condition as dispatched from the factory to the appointed warehouse in Mombasa.
The applicants should submit their proposals and include the following information or demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements below:
The number and size of trucks directly owned by the service provider.
- Ability of the service provider to provide a truck within 2 days of formal request from the factory.
- Ability of the service provider to deliver the tea safely to designated destination within the pre- agreed timeline e.g., from Mulindi to Mombasa within 7 days.
- Provide requisite comprehensive insurance cover for the value of tea transported.
- Demonstrate own internal mechanisms to closely monitor the truck loaded with tea from Mulindi to the designated destination and give regular updates.
- The ability to process exit customs clearance for the tea at the borders.
Tender Proposals should be submitted on or before 17:00hrs Friday September 5th, 2025, in sealed envelopes to be delivered to the following address:

on September 5th ,2025 17h.00Kigali time (closing time) – Failing to follow this instruction proposals will not be considered.
Results of the review session will be available on September 15th, 2025.

- Mulindi Factory Company Limited is not obligated to purchase or to pay for any costs incurred by the bidder in preparation of his/her proposal in response to this tender notice.
- Proposals will be evaluated on the greatest overall fulfilment of criteria/specified as per the notice.
- MFC staff are not allowed to participate in this tender.
- MFC ltd reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Tenders partially or wholly without assigning any reason whatsoever
