Tender to Provide Food for 300 Caregivers Supported by SOS BMZ Quality Care Project and its Partners (150 Inshuti Z’umuryango) Kigali: (Deadline 17 April 2021)
TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT
SOS Children’s Villages Rwanda is a child-focused organization and an affiliate of the SOS Children Villages International. It is non-governmental, non-political, non-denominational, and non-racial. Its overall mission is to build families for children in need, help them shape their own futures, and share in the development of their communities.
SOS Children’s Villages Rwanda invites potential entrepreneurs to compete in the tender to feed 300 Caregivers/Families who are supported by BMZ Quality Care Project and 150 Inshuti z’Umuryango and other project partners in Kicukiro, Kamonyi, and Bugesera, during various meetings and training that will be organised in 2021.
Duration of the service delivery
This service will be needed for a period of nine (9) months, starting from 15/04/2021 to 31/12/2021. The three best suppliers will be selected from Kamonyi, Bugesera, and Kicukiro. One supplier will serve in only one district (as these activities will be organized simultaneously in all districts at once).
Composition of the menu
The menu will consist of the following: Rice (plain or Pilaf), Irish potatoes, bananas, beans or peas, beef, vegetables, and desserts especially bananas or pineapple. The drink consists of soda (33 cl) or water (500 ml).
The requirements are as follows:
- Having a Restaurant in one of the three districts (Kicukiro, Kamonyi, and Bugesera);
- Having a known workplace (Physical Address & Telephone Number);
- Having a company registered in RDB;
- The issuance of an EBM invoice;
- Proof of payment of tender submission fees (not refundable) equivalent to Thirty thousand Rwanda francs (30,000Rwf) to the account number: 400418314910177 entitled SOS CV Rwanda Trust Account, opened in BPR.
Well written bids indicating the price of food and soft drinks to be submitted electronically to the following e-mail addresses:sos.procurement@sos-rwanda.org no later than April 17, 2021, at 4:00 pm, local hours. Each lot is unique and it should be specified in the subject.
