The NationalFund for Environment (FONERWA), (hereinafter called ‘’Client”) is funded by GCF towards the cost of Construction of farm ponds at 8 sites including fencing and supply of pedal pumps. The Client intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Bidding Document is issued.
The NationalFund for Environment invites eligible bidders in Category F of marshland development and hillside irrigation to submit bids for the Construction of farm ponds at 8 sites including fencing and supply of pedal pumps as indicated in detail in the statement of Requirements.
Tender Document will be obtained through E-procurement system of Rwanda (www.umucyo.gov.rw). For submission of Bids, all interested bidders must pay non- refundable fee of seven thousand (7,000 Frw) Rwandan francs to a Non-fiscal revenue Account of Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) opened at any Commercial Bank of your choice. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security generated by the e-procurement system.

Bids will be submitted online using the E-procurement system as mentioned above not later than 5th /4/ 2021 at 9:00 am local time. Late bids will not be accepted by the system. Bids will be opened automatically through E-procurement system on the same day at 9:30 am local time.
The bids should be valid for one hundred twenty (120) calendar days minimum from date of bids opening
All interested bidders may obtain some supplementary information by writing using the e-procurement system not later than seven (7) days before the fixed deadline of bids submission
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Laws and Regulations on Public procurement in Rwanda
