 TITLE: Expression of Interest (EOI) for Supplying 32,500 seedlings of Agroforestry (Grevillea robusta) and Grafting of 1500 Fruit Tree Seedlings (Persea americana)

Action for Environment Protection and Agriculture Sectors Promotion (APEFA) is a National Non-Government Organisation working in different sectors of Agriculture and Environment Including Soil conservation and landscape restoration; integrated water management, Sustainable agriculture; Climate change adaptation &mitigation; Green mining promotion, Monitoring, and traceability of minerals, etc. The vision of APEFA is “The effective integration of the Rwandan population in the process of solving problems related to the environment and food security” While the mission is to Towards an environmental balance at the same time including sectors of forestry, agroforestry, and the agricultural development to improve the living conditions of the community;

Under the financial support from Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), The Action for Environment Protection and Agriculture Sectors Promotion (APEFA) is implementing the project entitled ”Strengthening Community Based Climate change Adaptation of smallholder farmers in Bugesera District.”  NGERUKA Sector

For this reason, APEFA is inviting companies, Enterprises, or Individuals with experience in Agroforestry seedlings for the production and supply for the following lot:

 Produce and supply 32,500 of Seedlings Agroforestry (Grevillea robusta) and grafting of 1500 Fruit Tree Seedlings (Avocados)

The agroforestry seedlings will be supplied as shown in the   table below:

Bidders can apply for one of the lots or all.

1. Participation in the competition is open on equal opportunities and conditions to all companies, individuals with TIN Number of enterprises specialized in the field of nursery beds establishment and fruit tree seedlings production with at least 1year of experience in similar Assignments.
2. 3. The Bids and Expression of Interest (EOI) can be sent in French or English and the Bids must be sent to APEFA Email (apefarwanda@gmail.com) no later than 10/10/2020 at 14h00 pm, Kigali Time. Late bids will be rejected.
4. Technical and financial bids shall be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes.
5. The opening of bids will take place on 11/10/2020 at 10h30am at the Head Office of APEFA in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
