The Texas Tech University is a fully funded graduate assistantship in research for project on the spatial ecology of desert wetlands.
The Graduate opportunity in the spatial ecology of desert wetlands is seeking a highly motivated applicant to join our labs to conduct M.S. research on geospatial dynamics of desert wetlands across environmental gradients.
The project is co-advised by Dr. Nancy McIntyre (Biological Sciences) and Dr. Kerry Griffis-Kyle (Natural Resources Management), at the Texas Tech University.
Eligibility Requirements for Texas Tech University Graduate Scholarship 2026
To be considered for the Texas Tech University Graduate Scholarship, you must:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Be US citizens and be able to pass a military background check.
- Preference will be given to students with experience/coursework in landscape ecology, remote sensing, and GIS and applicants with experience in hot desert field conditions.
- Experience with ArcGIS

- Curation of spatial datasets
