About the Fellowship
The Graduate Fellow Program is designed for current or recent graduate students looking to engage in high-impact research and policy work. Fellows are placed within one of our key focus areas:

This part-time fellowship averages 20 hours per week and is ideal for those eager to deepen their expertise in data policy, evidence use, and public interest research.

Responsibilities
As a Graduate Fellow, you will:

Conduct research and analysis on policy issues within your assigned program area

Draft policy briefs, research summaries, blog posts, and fact sheets
-
Support project execution and develop strategic insights

Assist with stakeholder engagement and external communications
-
Contribute to white papers, policy options, and advocacy materials

Participate in team meetings and events
-
Identify emerging trends in your program portfolio
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
-
Enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s or Ph.D. program in fields such as public policy, data science, public administration, public health, statistics, economics, environmental studies, evaluation, or related disciplines

Prior coursework or research experience in public policy or analysis preferred
Skills:

Clear and effective communicator—both written and verbal

Strong research and analytical capabilities

Familiarity or interest in:

Data and transparency policy

Evidence-informed policymaking

Evaluation, climate, and equity-focused policy

Highly organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
