The Mckinsey’s African Leaders on the Move for Young Africans 2024: (Deadline: 1 November, 2024)

The African Leaders on the Move initiative is designed for individuals who have a connection to or a strong interest in Africa. McKinsey operates six offices across the continent, located in Johannesburg, Lagos, Luanda, Casablanca, Nairobi, and Addis Ababa. We collaborate with numerous prominent African organizations spanning various sectors, including energy and materials, financial services, consumer goods and retail, telecommunications, infrastructure and logistics, as well as public and social sectors.

Event Information – Mckinsey’s African Leaders on the Move for Young Africans

This event will take place in person in London, and successful candidates will receive an RSVP notification approximately one week prior to the event date. Applicants must be present in the UK at the time of the event, and please be aware that all personal logistics expenses will be the responsibility of the individual.

Eligibility Criteria
McKinsey encourages applications from individuals with diverse academic and professional backgrounds who are eager to embark on a rewarding consulting career and are enthusiastic about contributing to Africa. We invite undergraduates, postgraduates, and professionals with up to eight years of experience to apply. This event is not evaluative; rather, it serves as a platform for you to familiarize yourself with McKinsey and explore opportunities in Africa.

To be considered for the African Leaders on the Move event, please submit the following:
– Your CV in English (maximum of 2 pages), detailing your educational background, grades, work experience, and extracurricular activities and accomplishments.
– Your preferred location for an Africa office, which should be based on your geographic connections, such as having studied or lived in that country. Fluency in the local language and meeting work eligibility requirements are essential.
