Eligibility Requirements for Tokyo Metropolitan University Scholarship in Japan 2026
To be considered for the Tokyo Metropolitan University Scholarship in Japan 2026, you must:
- Meet the entry requirements for admission to a graduate program at Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU)
- Be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (i.e., a master’s applicant) or a master’s degree (i.e., a Ph.D. applicant) program at
- A partner institution of TMU
- A higher education institution in either of the following locations
・any of Tokyo’s sister cities
・any other Asian country or region
- Work in a research institution, governmental organization, or company in either of the following locations;
- any of Tokyo’s sister cities
- any other Asian country or region
- Demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and innovation for the enhancement of Tokyo and beyond.
