The TotalEnergies National Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMSS) is one of the oil company’s corporate social responsibilities for deserving Nigerian undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The TotalEnergies Merit Scholarship is awarded as an annual grant for first and second-year undergraduates as an educational intervention by the company to support Nigerian students.
Since its inception in 2003, the NNPC TotalEnergies Scholarship Scheme has benefitted more than 39,000 students enrolled in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Eligibility Requirements for TotalEnergies National Scholarship 2025
To be considered for the TotalEnergies National Scholarship 2025, you must:
- Be a first (100L) or second-year (200L) student of a Nigerian NUC-accredited university.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student of your institution.
- Have scored at least 200 in the last UTME
- Possess a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in a 5.0 grade system.
- Students who are current beneficiaries of similar scholarships from an entity in the oil and gas industry are not eligible.
